Handcrafted furniture, gifts, decor and one-of-a-kind collectibles made right here in Nature's backyard

Come and enjoy the old world atmosphere of Forest Furniture Gallery. Located at the "Fort" in picturesque Idyllwild, our eclectic little store offers a diverse range of art, antiques and collectibles. If you’re looking for that personal, one-of-a-kind gift for a friend or family member (without breaking the bank!), or simply want to buy something to remind you of your trip to the mountain, this is the place to come!

Forest Furniture Gallery was started by local artisan Martin Jones and his wife Janet, and is the only place in town where you can buy their handcrafted, custom-designed furniture, all of which is made from locally and responsibly logged lumber. Here you can find hand-made walking sticks, manzanita candle holders, clocks and lamps; cedar benches, tables and Adirondack chairs.

As well as Martin’s furniture, and Janet’s hand-made jewelry, Forest Furniture is pleased to offer the works of local and some not so local artists and artisans, such as the unique clay works of Alan Potter, the water color art and acrylic abstracts by local artist Gary Glasheen, and local scenes by artist Yvonne Stevens to name a few. We have a distinctive selection of both new and old Zuni jewelry as well as jewelry handcrafted from such unique stones as larimar, druzy, jasper, opals, calisilica, peridot, coral, fire opal and more. We always have a good selection of Royal Albert, Coalport, Copenhagen, Wedgewood, and many other English Pottery marques in stock and also carry an array of Americana from the late 1800 early 1900’s.

So, come take a break from the stresses of modern life, enjoy a relaxing stroll along our bucolic streets and, with a little luck, take home a memento of our mountain.
